Today was the annual rat exhibition Stora Pet. Lennart and Gunnar was not participating since my boss didn't set the new work schedual in time. But I was there! I got to help Potku with her rats, since she was both exhibiting AND judging. Eleven rats to keep track of... Well, they were all in their travel cages, but I had to keep track of wich rat that was going up to wich judge at wich time. At one point I was juggeling six rats between three judges pretty much at the same time. And I didn't mess up! I rock! But now, I'm sooooo tired... It was a great day, Paula (who has the rat kennel Rackarns- http://www.rackarns.se/) did really well with her rats and we'll have to celebrate when she's not having the cold of d00m anymore.
One rat pooped in my bra... And most rats marked me, so I didn't exactly smell great at the end of the day. But now I'm all nice and clean again!

Nidde must be the master of sneakiness. Or, I'm just very easy to fool. I didn't have time to write this yesterday since it was kinda late, so I'm writing it now.
Yesterday we went for birthday dinner at Texas Longhorn. Not the most romantic restaurant- but definitely my favorite! The food is amazing! And the service is very good too. But anyway. We went there at about 7pm, got or table and ordered. I had the lobster. Last time I ate lobster was in Cuba. So, we got our drinks- and the waiter brought a present! Nidde had sneaked over there after work and made a deal and left my presents- so with every course I got another present! It started with a memory card. And then special paper for cleaning camera lenses. A camera case came next, and it ended with dessert and the camera!
I wish I was sneaky and romantic like that. And that Nidde was easier to buy gifts for. Well, actually he IS easy to get gifts for- if you are a computer nerd...

Today's my birthday. Two hours left, but this far it's been great! I made cookies and a pie this weekend, and a cake this morning. Then I cleaned up a little before my guests came over. They really liked the "fika" (there's no translation for that word, but it's when you eat things that aren't food or snacks (like cookies/cake or sandwiches) and it's mainly served with coffee/tea or lemonade) and we had a good time. Paula brought the dog Cicero. It's a border terrier that she looks after when his owners are at work. Gunnar and Cicero was very curious about each other- and a little scared too. Lennart didn't want to say hello to Cicero at all. I got lots of great gifts! The cutest was a shower cap that looks like a pig, and the greatest gift of all was a fancy schmansy red Casio Exilim S-770! Yey! World, look out! I will now take pictures all the time! I also got a gift card for a new rat. But that gift is very special, and it's hard to explain my feelings about it. It's one of those things that you put deep in your heart and smile secretly about at night before going to sleep. I'm really really looking forward to finding the rat to exchange the gift card for!
Now it's bedtime, work starts at 7am tomorrow. Sleep tight all of you! I will, with my belly filled with cake!

Went to Gästrike-Hälsinglands nation with Lina and August. It was fun! We ate goooooooooood food (but it took quite some time to get it), dessert and had a few drinks. We bumped in to Karin and her boyfriend, and Zunni and Perskull. Too bad I had to go home :( But I have to go to work at 7am tomorrow. That's life!
Now- bedtime!

Today has been a good day.
I went to town with my friend Lina (the one I made biscotti with). We had milkshake, ice tea, and baklava. We discussed art, food, studies and life. I discovered that for as long as my studies aren't completed (even if I'm taking a break) I can register as a student and get a card so that I can hang out at the nations, get access to the libraries and the computer systems, and all the other stuff I might need to get my reports finished. Yey!
We had the ice tea at Hugos', they make their own ice tea and you get to choose witch kind you want. The one we tried was really really nice, so I bought some of the tea leafs so that I can make it at home too. Nice to get a tea that's really good for making ice tea and doesn't need sweetening.
I also finally got to book a time at Nautilus with a personal trainer to get started. Friday the 31st... I've never been to a gym before, so wish me luck! Also wish me luck with loosing weight and getting in shape. I'll be hotter then ever baby!
We had tuna for dinner, Lina ate with us. When she went home we watched alot of CSI, and cuddled. I also spent some time cuddling with Lennart and Richard, so they won't get jealous.
Now, it's bed time!

Me and a friend made biscotti today. My conclusion- biscotti are dangerous since you can't stop eating them. Especially if you have something to soak them in a litte.
I tried to find a new pair of pants today, but without success. I want summer pants, and they're taking out the fall collections at every store... Whatever.

My friends party was really nice :) I had a great time! Good cakes ad cookies, fabulous punch, an wonderful company. I stayed a little bit after most of the other guests had left ans watched Futurama. And we all got a bit worried when Madam (one of my friends rats) disappered- but we found her eventually.
Yesterday I went to the movies to see Black Sheep. It was funny, but could have been even more so. Still, worth the money ^_^
I need to clean my rats cage, but I oversleep all the time (COULD have something to do with me staying up way to late) so I'll have to try and get it done tomorrow.
I also noticed that last time I posted and entry I was so upset I miss-spelled stuff...
Well, time to get to work!

I was called to a meeting at the neuro-psychiatric unit att UU (Not Unseen Uni, Uppsala Uni) today. So I took my bike and of I went! Only, when I got there the signs stopped at 38, and I was going to number 40. I finally found it. Big, empty halls... No signs... UNTILL! I figured out that you had to go up one floor. Yes! I found it! But? What? The door is locked and the doorbell doesn't work? A nice janitor let me in. Turns out the doorbell only rings in the secretarys office. And guess who's on vacation? I found some people, got some help and found out that there had been a double booking. So instead of talking to the psychiatrist I got to talk with a... Eh, apparantly the translation from swedish to english is "welfare officer" but that seems a bitt off. Kurator in swedish anyway. Didn't matter much this time since it was only a walk-through of what we are going to do in the future, but any way. Sucky start of the day. Also, I think I'm catching a urinary infection, so I'm trying to drink humungus amounts of cranberry juice. YUCK!
But I'm really looking forward to the afternoon. My friend has her birthday, so I'm going over to celebrate! Cake for me!
Now- nap-time, so I'm awake and fresh like a flower when I get to my friends house :)

Life is slowly heading on towards the finish-line. I count on beeing there in about 50 years or so.
Right now I'm trying to figure out how to make a new paragraph in my blog. The ones I make in my text are automatically transformed to "break rows" instead and it pisses me off. "Help" really isn't much help. Thanks alot. Really.

I really haven't been blogging for a really really long time.
Don't know why I stopped really. I'll try to get better.

Lots have happened since last time.
I got a job I really like, has a couple of terrorist living in a cage in my kitchen (don't worry- it's not suicide bombers, it's rats), one of my favourite friends has moved to Skåne of all places, Nidde's got a really good job that he loves programming some webb-page, I'm finally in therapy, and a couple of elks tried to eat me the other day.
And lots of things are the same.
Me and Nidde are still happy together in our apartement, I still have a sucky bike, I'm still a bit overweight, is till read ALOT, and as usual I stay up way to late at night.

But now I'm going to bed, even though falling asleap is a major achievement in this sticky heat.

Awoke around one a.m when my boyfriend asked me how I was. I had awoken him by crying in my sleep. I had a nightmare wich started out good. I was going to Dekadance, but didn't know what to wear. When I got there I was told that I wasn't allowed in, becaus I was to fat (and the person who told me was really fat so I didn't get it at all). Anyway, somehow my little brother got murdered and it was I who did it, and there was something about hens and air-plane tickets.
But it was really bad when I awoke. Nightmares suck.

Thursday night I spent about 8h with my (hopefully) new teacher. We started with dinner, and went on to Haga Video. It was... A new experience. I've never been to a similar place before. Fortunately I had male company, and I don't think I'll go back there alone. When my friend went to the bathroom I got more then one compliment from men as old as my granddad (if he was alive). And one man on his thirties told me that "If you want to, just give a sign". He never said anything about wanting something special, or any special sigt. Not that the "want"-thing is hard to figure out concidering the place... Me and Puh has tried to figure out signt for stuff for two days now :D
But I really think that people got dissapointed when we went in to the playroom and up on a bed behind a curtain. We got ALOT of audience, only they must have been dissapointed since all that happened was me giving him a back-rub.
I had a really good time in his company, and he seemd to enjoy mine. So I hope that he wants me as his pupil. Hasn't heard anything since we parted so I'm kinda nervous... But all the signs were good, so hopefully he's just busy. Wich is very much like him.


Slept att Puh's place thursday (when I left Haga) and friday. We had a good time, and I'm looking forward to seeing her again next weekend :)
Pizza and Pixar-films FTW!!!

I've just cleaned the most disgusting bathroom I have ever seen. Seriously. There was faeces on the floor. And on really strange places on the toilet-seat. I can't understand that some people can live like that. And not shower for more then a week, even if they arn't camping! And then, they complain about not having a sex-life. Ofcourse noone wants to get close to you if you stink! I'm not saying you can't smell human. Just don't smell like the equivalent of a pig-stie. THAT IS DISGUSTING!!!

Actually, not even close (unless someting is going on that I don't know about).


Everything is fine. Nidde came home yesterday after spending the weekend in Malmö. Happiness! It's no fun to sleep in an empty bed... Even less fun if the person supposed to share the bed isn't even in the same city. How will I survive christmas? Two weeks, not even in the same country or time-zone... I need something like Nidde-methadone or something.


It's getting colder and the leafs are finally turning! For some reason, I feel best at this time of the year. But I miss the winters back home in Luleå. I miss the cold and the snow. Winter down here isn't as fun. It's darker and wetter, and no colors. Everything is in gray-scales or sepia.
Up north the darkness of night is longer (ALOT longer), but during the day when the sun is out and glittering in the white snow all the colors are inhaced. The sky is bluer, the trees are greener and the clouds are whiter. The air is dry and crisp. Can you tell that I love it?

I have a wonderful boyfriend, whom I live with. I also have the best girlfriend in the world. And if that wasn't enough (wich it is), I have several numbers to call IF (very unlikely) I would want some sex on the side.
Now, last night I chatted with a person on MSN (male, yes. Not a man, not a boy, just an irritating male) that I've had some online contact with since we have some mutual friends. Last night he committed a MAJOR faux pas. He not only told me that he had had sex with a person that I have had sex with. He also said that it would happend again, and basically invited me. Without checking with her if SHE wanted to se him again, and without asking if it was ok with her if I joined. He also said (a bit more covered up, but not much) that we should have sex just him and me, and hopefully the first time we met IRL.
Before that I have told him that I'm not interested in having sex with others then my parthers at the moment. Also, this person smokes pot, is pretty un-attarctive, doesn't shower very often and is not very interesting to talk to. So I hardly think so.
Men. Why is it that men on the net thinks that every woman they meet there wants to sleep with them?

Since I was very ill on my birth-day I will celebrate tomorrow instead. So now I'm baking a cake! I was planning on making cup cakes too, but I ran out of sugar so they will have to wait 'till tomorrow with the cookies and cinnamon rolls. I loooooooooove cake. Cake! And friends!
Except for when one friend is lying and one is telling the truth. And the occation didn't have any other witnesses, and you don't know wich one to trust...


I have also found out that an aquaintance has insulted a friend of mine deeply, and that he's sending pretty unpleasent e-mails to another friend. Not very nice.
